About the site

SEO judgment for medical-practice websites.

Praxis is an owned publication and enquiry surface run by Yan Dobromyslov. It exists to make useful search decisions public and to support ongoing SEO work when there is a fit.

Yan Dobromyslov

The scope is SEO

I work across demand research, page ownership, technical implementation, content architecture, on-page work, local search, links, measurement, and conversion. The same underlying work applies across industries. A medical practice changes the business inputs and some implementation constraints; it does not give an SEO practitioner medical or legal credentials.

Clinical claims and patient guidance must come from qualified medical reviewers. HIPAA and other legal determinations belong with the practice's privacy officer or qualified counsel. My role is to make the search and website system legible, reduce unsupported assumptions, implement the approved decisions, and observe what happens.

What the work looks like

A useful engagement does not begin with a predetermined number of articles or a “medical SEO package.” It begins with the practice, the market, the current site, the evidence available, and the business change search is supposed to produce. Research then has to alter real decisions: which pages own demand, what should be merged or removed, how links and navigation direct attention, which technical defects block the plan, and how qualified enquiries will be observed.

The implementation is ongoing because the site, search results, competitors, and evidence keep changing. That work can include writing and editing, but a page is not useful merely because it contains the right niche vocabulary.

Identity and contact

You can find my public work history on Upwork and my identity on LinkedIn. If you control a medical-practice website and want to discuss ongoing SEO work, send the site, market, and the business change search is meant to produce.

What should search change for the practice?

The enquiry asks for the minimum needed to understand the site and the problem. Do not include patient or health information.
